Day 10: Isolation

Today is a great day! I was able to construct some rudimentary writing utensils from charcoal to journal the activities since being stranded 10 days ago. We are now able to chronolog our quest to return to society and the challenges endured.

It’s been a perilous ten days stranded on an uninhabited desert island with our crew. Some of the crew members wonder around, as if lost looking for something, maybe a purpose. Other members disappear into the jungle to return at night with no recall of their activities. It’s a bit odd. We are watching them closely.

Last week we were able to cobble together a driftwood raft, venturing to remote keys where we discovered various food sources. However, it was too dangerous to stay to eat which required us to retreat to safer locations. We observed, during our excursion, indigenous tribes throughout the keys but when approached they fled as if we were dangerous. We will continue to reach out, but fear this will be a lengthy process to communicate. Running out of charcoal, will continue more later. Signed crew of the #SSVagabond Series: #WaywardVagabond
